It's annoying as FUCK, they're so quick to just insist that this just isn't something that happens, that ugly people are just invisible and don't get noticed
at my gym there's two pretty unfortunate looking people, one guy has legit down syndrome, and one dude has really bad bulging eyes that point away from eachother, recessed jaw, bad asymmetry, and guess what? I've seen both of these dudes get stared at by people, and I also get the same kinda stares myself so this really isn't a good sign as far as my own looks are concerned, people just stare at them, probably because brains take longer to process unattractive faces so they HAVE to stare to like process their faces or whatever
I just don't know why this is the one thing that normies deny so much, seriously just start venting to any normie about people staring at you and they'll immediately start saying this isn't a thing that people do and that you're probably just imagining the stares, getting stared at is such a foreign fucking experience for them they just can't comprehend it ever happening so they immediately go into denial mode and just shut your spoken experiences down with "it's all in your head bro", it's genuinely psychologically fascinating
