Welcome to the NHK was pretty blackpilled and relatable at first, but in the end it turned kinda bluepilled.
the whole show just made me extremely sad. i feel like any NEET who watches the show would get depressed because they know they'll be stuck that way forever and there's not gonna be a misaki to come save them.
the creator of that show HAD to have been a hiki himself. animes overall are a good cope though

I believe that the creator of the anime put Misaki to convey the message that only you can help yourself. Misaki didn't save Satou from being hikikomori, Satou got out of his hikikomori state by himself, by working as a ramp service agent when his parents couldn't support him financially anymore.

nice it is cool im only a third of the way through when he keeps on getting trolled by the lolli, an has his porn obssesed friend wheere they flip out in their rooms together, its very well written and is very funny cool references, while being super sad also.

I agree with you tbh. Also have you read the manga? I liked the manga more because it's more raw, true to life and relatable. Satou is more realistic, he's a druggie and crawls through life,you get to see that he's suffering from his hikikomori state . In the end his situation doesn't really improve either. Misaki is a manipulative, sadistic bitch who doesn't care about Satou and uses him so she can feel better about herself.
Mangas and books have a more relatable storyline than any anime/movie I've seen. Actually, I don't know any anime besides welcome to the NHK that talks mainly about something incel-related
