you should always be schizo when it comes to that shit. But a little something that might help you relax. Look up your own IP, search whats: my IP in google, it will give you it along with the rest of information available to those that finds it. To get more info, the cops need to chat with the ISP and to get said info the cops need a warrant.

Every site you visit gets your IP anyway, is public for a reason.

i'm not very knowledgeable on the matter but i think it doesn't matter at all unless someine sends you a link privately right? if it's a link that is posted publicly, others will click on it as well, and the person who shared it will have a random bunch of numbers they can't do anything with. if a person PMs you the linkgrabber then that means they want to harm you so i would only be concerned if that was the case

I made my own bootleg qubes OS, i run alot of shit in vms, it started with some software i need being .deb files. it evolved into me using a web-browser in an vm.
