It's quite nice as you're barely visible, the popcorn is always nice, you get free soda and the seats are comfortable. Too bad most movies nowadays are meh

It’s nice you don’t have to talk to people only if you want snacks i wish they were clean IPIC and Cinepolis luxury movie theaters are the only nice ones and they have the reclinning seats very fucking comfy

The amc and cinemark near where i live are fucking garbage i’d rather waste $30 on a ticket and waste $70 on drink and food with a comfy ass recliner and plus they give me blankies at IPIC so mega based

I used to go to the theater a lot because I used to live within walking distance of an IMAX theater. But I've grown out of it. I just can't be bothered anymore. Sitting next to strangers just sucks. Movies come out for download on pirate sites faster now than ever before. I saw Terrifier 3 in the theater and literally the next weekend I downloaded an HD rip of the movie. Could've saved myself the price of the ticket + popcorn + drink + cost of driving. It's just not worth it anymore when I can get a similar experience for free.

That was a fucking game changer. It turns out just like movie theater popcorn. Actually even better if you go the "medium white hulless" popcorn form Amazon. No need to pay $10 for a bag of movie theater popcorn ever again.

I also try to watch a movie "the proper way". Make a batch of popcorn, turn the lights off, phone and tablet stay off, and legit try to enjoy the whole movie.
