I used to eat it a lot as a child. Nowadays I just skip breakfast though because I wake up at like 3 in the afternoon.

Not really. There is barely any protein in oatmeal, or if there is a little its just not bioavailable. The best sources of protein is red meat and fish, particularly raw muscle meat

Isn't there nearly 10 grams of protein per 100g? But yeah you don't get 100% of it as with animal products
It's still good to combine it with yoghurt
