I don't like these build your own empire games

because the thing you are aiming to do is make the game play itself. Hire people to do things in the game for you and you just sit around and collect money.

im talking about those games where you hire people in the game to basically get money for you through completing stuff in the game. They are fun but I just feel like I do nothing while playing them.

I always loved those as a kid, but at some point, when you are upgrading a building and it's taking 3 days, a moment of realization that all of it is pointless hits you. It was like a glimpse into real life adult wage-slavery.

I somehow enjoyed Caesar 3 as a kid but absolutely can't get into 99% of citybuilders
