Trends. Whenever something is trending as a topic you'll have all these YouTubers gathering like flies pretending to care about it. I don't know how anyone watches them and takes them seriously. It's so obvious they're faking it for their money. These YouTubers are basically opinion prostitutes.

No, it put too much restriction on achieving monetization. Hence the slops. YT used to be absolutely unhinged with OG YTers, and they heavily benefitted from the easy-going moderation financially.

Youtube was amazing before they rolled out "partners" and starting changing the whole website to push them specifically.
