Went to my 5hr work shift 12 hours sleep deprived, on a empty stomach, and 400mg of modafinil. I got so disconnected from reality during my shift that people would ask if im okay and would make jokes like "oh is the manager working ya too hard?".
I almost puked on a few people because i also jugged a redbull later and felt nothing but nausea for the remaining 3 hours. It was only me and one other guy at the place so I was basically left on my own.
all that suffering for like $80
i deserve to be put on a pedestal and worshiped. I had to deal with the entire spectrum, from seething impatient angry customers to over-the-top emotional crying customers all the while inches away from blacking out of malnutrition and exhaustion.
I didnt even a single breather due to the massive influx of customers at the weirdest hours.
