I beat it but had to force myself to do it. It was really overrated and combat was worse than Borderlands games. Story had only few cool monents and you always going to lose no matter what. Stupid dicksucking CDP cunts fucked their story over by dickriding Keeanu so much, originally he was supposed to only be a small part of the story not the major that took over entire script and it shows how bad it has become.
Cyberpunk is a poor man’s choice of RPGs. There’s barely any player interactivity. It’s all as shallow as a puddle. None of your decisions matter (and the game highlights the ones that do, but for the most part, they don’t, especially in determining the ending).
The reason why the game got so popular (especially among third world subhumans) despite being so shit (literally unplayable at launch) is because the marketing enticed the normies by being edgy, but in a safe and Reddit way (hence Keanu Reeves was involved as massive sellout). It serves as an insanely good example actually: you don’t need to make a good game in order for it to be successful, just pay a bunch of e-celebs to shill it for you, and invite popular hecking wholesome chungus actor, and it’s done. Oh and, put on a generic Billie Eyelash song for the trailers, and you’re golden.

Haven't played the game yet, but the anime adaptation was alright so I might give the game a shot soon.
I played it on launch for the specific purpose of fucking around with the glitches.
Made it pretty far but it just falls off even more to the point where even the fuckery wasn't enough to keep me entertained. Boring game not worth your time

The anime was very overhyped the only part I enjoyed was when the main guy was still in school at the beginning
The school part was the most boring part of all, a poorly written teenage fantasy cliche: "poor kid goes to rich kid school and gets bullied for it, eventually gets revenge"
The show starts getting good after Maine dies IMHO
