alex talked about this when they were in brazil in oct/nov. it's pretty much about casual sex. he likes the non-attachment, rush, feeling. when the girl wants to get to know him, he stays emotionally unattached, keeping on his "balaclava"

FUCK I always thought this song was about rape. I can't listen to a young statusmaxxed pretty boy bragging about his slaying of young groupies who are desperate to love him but he only uses their orifices for his personal pleasure and then discards them like used toiled paper when I'd kill to experience romance with girls like that. That's way too humiliating and emotionally destroying.

They have other songs which are obviously about casual sex (like "Still Take You Home"), but they're a lot more subtle and less suicidefuel-ish.

And to think I listened to this band nonstop when I was around 20, that was my favorite song for a good while back then.

This also happened to me with Deftones (pretty much all songs are about sex) and most female bands (all songs are about Chad).

That's why I like Nirvana so much (apart for it being legit good). Even though Kurt Cobain was gl, he never became a slayer because he was a mentally ill mentalcel manlet. This is the type of lyrics I want to see:

I changed it because that one could be interpreted as getting a STD (which you have to have sex to get).

I just listened to Balaclava for the 1st time and I get where you're coming from. I like the song and the lyrics nice but I can't listen to it without feeling like shit because I know the meaning tbh. This is a good example of how inceldom affects our lives more than the avg. person would think. There's a lot of things I can't enjoy because it serves as a reminder of what I'm missing or I see how bad it actually is.

Negative Creep is nice though.
