And I thought I was weird. I'm a weird guy, but I make a lot of sense because you can take one look at me, and you just know what kind of shit I probably had to deal with. But these guys. It just doesn't add up. I randomly came across this podcast on youtube, because I want to hear based opinions about the shooter. Their opinion was contrarian, in the sense that they were pro CEO, yet mainstream in a psychotic way, it is the precise opinion to have if you strictly want to be powerful within the system.

But I've never seen such unsettling characters. Nothing about them makes sense. It's very hard to pinpoint why. Why are they dressed like that? Why are they sitting right across from each other so formally, even though they are brothers. There's no context of their existence. The production value is way too high, the lighting, the set dressing and american flag. I dont understand who they are, they have no personality, and all their opinions are safely nebulous, yet have the gloss of suaveness. I would say the one on the right is a step weirder than the one on the left. At least with the one on the left I can say he seems eager about tech business related topics he takes about, although he takes the host role which excuses him from having more screentime dedicated to his personal takes. The one on the right seems extremely focused on what he's saying while saying nothing at all at the same time.

There is something superficial about their intelligence as weird as that sounds. They are into things a greedy MBA kind of person are into, but even a figure like Jim Kramer has some kind of soul backing his reporting on stocks for example. There's a sense that Jim Kramer, wants to get rich like any other Joe who wants cocaine and hookers. For these guys it's almost too on the nose Patrick Bateman, yet coincidental. A complete emptiness to pursuits of status for the sake of performing normal to a possible ideal that only they understand. I doubt these guys ever caught onto their own American Psychoness. They do too good of a job hiding any kind of Homelander or Terrence Wellick crazy, and they are able to communicate in voice and facial expression on camera for a long period of time, that is appropriate to the situation, yet there is no sense of purpose or sense of emotional investment.

I think the weirdest thing about them is that they are Chadlites, they have the bone structure to be normal, so they have no business being so off. They are just two boring ambiguously gay or metrosexual brothers that are incredibly boring, talking about topics only an MBA or finance bro wannabe may find intriguiging, yet seem heavily invested into this podcast in a way that makes them think that what they have to say is worthy of status. Are these people just narcisissts? Is the entire thing suppose to be a vague satire about yuppie culture?

I don't know what's up with these 'people' but I know what you mean.

NPCs?
Demons have possessed those bodies?
Aliens impersonating humans?
Psychopaths?
Actors?
Edit: Superficially they don't seem to be Jews but you never know.

Obviously the most mundane explanation is that they're just actors someone pays to play a normie-adjacent role and steer opinion. At this point bigtime podcasts are the new TV so they pick attractive and charismatic actors who fit the demographic (age, sex, race, class etc.) they're wanting to portray and appeal to, and train them in their vocal tone and pacing, body language, mannerisms etc. and give them a rough script to follow.

Of course someone could just come off as uncanny when trying to seem normal, but I don't think they're trying to behave normally. It's acting, actors are trying to convey such and such a mood and emotion, convey authority/sympathy cues etc. Probably normies just lap it up, but being an autist you (we) pick up on it.

The people behind the scenes know that we pick up on it and find it disturbing, but it doesn't really matter, this kind of thing isn't aimed at autistic/schizophrenic player characters.

what are they trying to do though in terms of persuasion?? I don't get the sense they are trying to shill something specific like a shitcoin or some scam, or some kind of political philosophy. I think even actors would do a better job, a good actor will have a clear motive. They are definitely putting some kind of performance on but I'm not sure why there is so much emphasis on the performance, and I'm not sure who they are performing for. It seems like this person or people they are performing for doesn't exist. The problem is that there is a very clear and cultivated aesthetic there, but there is no clear cut culture attached to it in a coherent way.

I don't really know anything about the kind of things they discuss so I can't say much about that. Maybe rather than trying to cater exactly to an audience, they are trying to pull the public in a certain direction. They seem to be trying to project a wealthy and suave persona.

Like I said I don't know much about what they discuss but I have come across people like this when they're trying to sell you something, or astroturfed political groups. They are supposedly some small local grassroots political movement and they have these implausibly good looking, young, charismatic people who are very comfortable public speaking and in front of the camera, and clearly have more money behind them than you would expect, and you can tell that it's the State or some big NGO that has sent them. Similar kind of feel.

the whole thing feels like a sick inside joke meant to confuse the curious

It's an act. They are appealing to the white "I"ll be a self made billionare one day if I wake up at 4 AM" crowd

I think the average dude in that crowd is an idiot that's looking for easy answers and flashy lifestyle shit. Everything they are talking about is super insider. Even the way they signal wealth is super insider, but it can also all be a satirical Succession like inside joke too, or a Tim Heidecker styled satire.

I think another reason why they are so weird is that they make lot of allusions to knowing everybody in this tech elite startup bubble yet they are completely alone, they seem to be nobodies or at best temporarily embarrassed millionaires with this almost with this held back scathing desire to out-compete each other.

This is the problem with ambiguous people who talk with fancy jargon that ultimately has no clear modus operandi to it. Even if they look normal as fuck, you can't take them seriously, even if they were being genuine. They are behaviorally deviant.
