I beat Resident Evil 2 on Hardcore

It really tested my patience. I managed to unlock the rare "Hardcore college student" Trophy from it which was cool.

The second last boss fight was the most annoying easily on hardcore mode. Also the fact that there was no autosave.

You can die from 2 attacks on hardcore mode. Mr X also walks faster than you run if you shoot at him.

One of those plant zombies killed me when I was almost done the laboratory section. Never felt more pissed at a video game in a long time.
