If not nuclear war I'd be interested is seeing legit seige warfare used on Kyiv. There were some reports of plans to surround Kyiv, and then shut off electricity and water and food supplies, and just starve and freeze millions of people. Just keep dropping bombs and shooting machine guns from all directions. They could just do that for weeks or months, and shoot anyone who tries to leave the city. And just keep doing that until everyone is dead, then occupy the city and clear out all the dead bodies.

Just like the good old days in the middle ages.

It won't happen. Nukes are in noones interests. Russia will not resort to nukes unless NATO troops actually invade into the Russian motherland and even then it is sketchy. If Putin absolutely loses it I imagine that he will not be able to launch nukes by himself. As powerful as he is, there are other powerful people in Russia who probably don't want to get obliterated.
