Once pressed, the effects of the magic button cannot be undone for the forseeable future, unless extreme violence or collapse allows for the society the magic button is acting on to be destroyed.
There is a yellow button and a green button. If you press the yellow button, women will have their legal personhood removed (meaning they are not eligible for welfare, cannot vote and are essentially the property of men until otherwise stated by the man) and will not be able to use non-anonymous social media (includes Instagram and Tinder). If you press the green button, nothing will happen and everything will continue as it would have otherwise.
There is a catch however. You notice that behind the footpath is an industrial-looking block of land surrounded by a tall, barbed-wire fence. At first glance it looks like it's to keep people out, but it was actually keeping a bunch of people in - less than twenty metres down the footpath from you is a gate that will be unlocked when you press either button or don't press any button, and behind that gate are a swarm of random inceltears users with XY chromosomes that have been made aware of your post history on incel websites.
