By 2050, the global population will have risen to 9 billion people.
Our agriculture and natural resources are struggling hard enough to cope with 7.6 billion people, there's no way that 9 billion people would be sustainable.
Think of all the 3rd worlders pouring into western countries.
Why is this happening?
In 3rd world places such as Africa and India, each couple produces 3-4x more offspring than those in western countries, causing the population to increase uncontrollably.
However, 2nd generation and beyond, these 3rd worlders become westernized, and produce much less offspring as a result (assuming they reproduce at all, as they are 5'4'' brown subhumans who constantly get mogged by Euro Chads).
Females (even the lowest-tier ones) are content in being volcel and waiting for Chad, as they don't have the same libido as males.
80/20 is quickly becoming 95/5, as only 5% of the male population is truly desired by females.
With only 5% of the male population breeding, the global population will start to revert back to previously sustainable levels.
Not only this, but the children produced by these genetically superior males will be stronger, smarter, and (most importantly) more good-looking than previous generations.
The rise of Tinder, online dating, and hypergamy as a whole all makes sense now.

Also back then a man could easily get a job that paid enough to afford a house and all that. It's super hard these days to beta buxx and attract a wife that way because wages are shitty and women are favored for employment.

That's where the constant war, famines, and disease (especially AIDS and side effects of depleted uranium) in Africa and the Middle East come into play.
Tens of millions (possibly into the hundreds, as records aren't very well-kept in 3rd world countries) die every year in the third world because of these reasons.
Those who don't want to migrate become refugees and are forced to move to western countries.
Plus, it gives corporations the ability to snatch up their oil and natural resources, and use 3rd worlders for cheap labor in western countries.
Sure, they still breed like rats, but it definitely still takes a toll on their population growth.
The only thing that could completely quell them would be outright genocide, and the UN doesn't want to jeopardize its credibility by doing that.
It isn't perfect, but it sure as hell is happening.
