I was reading an article about laughter and its circuits in the brain and I sympathized with the brain damaged that can only like surprising jokes/stand ups/whatever.
Here is it if you're interested.
When I was a child I would laugh at the three types of humor: phonological (word plays), slapstick and visual and semantic jokes. Now I loathe puns and nonverbal jokes. Stereotypes are also boring "oh that's a Lepe joke, all people from Lepe are dumb" "oh British humor, the lady driving is waving at you and the joke is that she has her window open, amazing".
Has inceldom also numbed you to humor or is it just me who is a jaded autistic miserable wreck of a person?
P.S. It's not about intelligence, I'm of average smarts and even high IQ works of comedy such as Xavier Renegade Angel do not do the deed for me anymore. It's emotional and maybe even physical.
