It's 16 in the uk. Lowering it to 14 won't make a difference, but lowering it to 9/10/11/12 and removing social conditioning would help so many people on this forum.

As long as the "age of consent" is the same thing as "the age at which having sex is legal" is the same, and the penalty for anyone who has sex under that age is a mandatory death sentence, then I'm okay with it.
