Trump is probably going to win the election. I think it'd be funny to have a president who's in jail. Obviously he won't go to real jail because he's rich but I'm not sure if they can evem put him on house arrest or anything if he's president. Will he just get away with this? Will they wait until after he finishes his term? I definitely think he should be punished. Maybe it would just mean JD Vance would be president.

They never had to make laws about this because it's so ridiculous.

The logistics make it a bigger headache than it's worth, and no prosecutor is going to risk an entire case for some random issue that will extend it for years. What happens to his secret service? How are you going to ensure his safety? Will this cause an issue in national security? etc etc

I just thought of something: house arrest in the the White House. It would make the most sense. That way they wouldn't have to transport anything classified to his home or jailcell.
