vanity:
excessive pride in one's appearance, qualities, abilities, achievements, etc.; character or quality of being vain; conceit

today i want continue the discussion about social dynamics from yesterday, this one is gonna be heavy and tiresome so if you don't feel like reading highIQ posts feel free to come back later.
remember how incels are constantly told that thinking lowly of yourself and having a self-deprecating humor is a recipe for failure? well, in my opinion. self deprecation means that you have humility and you sort of know your place in the world.

normies think that, thinking highly of yourself leads to success, but they always forget how its also leads to vanity. which is an excessive and bloated opinion of yourself. its a very slippery slope. seems like even crippled or obese people have this sort of vanity about themselves.
when vanity and narcissism on the rise, it causes relationships to crumble and decay. this is the DIRECT result to things like social isolation in the modern era, and inceldom in general.
>b-but what about social media
yes, social media has a big part in this, but its just an accelerator. the real catalyst here is our parents education.

human beings are supposed to be humble FIRST and then take pride in themselves later. human beings are not supposed to have innate value. you are not charming, you are not smart, you are not creative. not until you make sure, that you indeed have those qualities
