It's counter productive tbh she will be an even bigger hoe now. Maybe that sort of thing worked on misbehaving kids century ago but now when you live in a soyciety where they can take away your kid for being "too religious" is not a good idea. Simply beating a kid wont work because there is no more conservative society to shame and judge whorish behavior, and those things were a driving factor that put people in line, kept family and dignified values.
