Most of us aren't hardwired to be around others, especially if its like marketing, real-estate, office work, etc. More people are living alone / no significant others, etc. There's no reason to work outside with others, especially with sex-havers. It doesn't necessarily have to do with programming or any of that shit. You have to figure out what you're good at and what you're NOT good at. if you're good, for example, in the arts: music, drawing, etc. You can use the digital market to push your stuff out there. If you're a bit of a tech / money guy, that's when the numbers comes into play and you can get into stocks and shit. What I'm getting at is, there's plenty of niches (online-based) you can get into in which leaving the safety of your home isn't a requirement.
