The vast majority of the couples still meet IRL through social circle, friends, mutual connections etc and the female always is the first one to show subtle signs that she's interested (laughing, touching her hair, getting closer etc) and that's where the guy initiates a conversation.

You need to have the looks and knowledge about female behavior for it. For context, I know a male friend of mine who happened to try it. You need to invite them somewhere for a "quick fix" i.e, dopamine in some way. Their more primal then I thought.

I went through a peried of distress over my inceldom that got me to where I forced myself to approach a few times. I got an "I have a boyfriend" and "I'm actually 16." Exactly. With normies it's either warm approach as you said, or it's the foids who approach them. I've seen it happen, foids approach first and give the hint, sometimes they even ask out, then the normie has to do the rest (escalation, first kiss, first sex etc.) or else the foid gives up anyway. I think that's how courtship IRL works 80% of the time.
