For most men even 1) is enough but admittedly its hard to abstain from fapping.
Carnitine can show some results, but the bad side about carnitine is that it can cause bad body odor, trimethylaminuria. This can be solved if you inject the carnitine and thus it doesn't pass through your digestive tract but that's a lot of work.
For whatever reason androgen receptors don't work the same way other receptors do, in the sense that they don't show downregulation if they are activated, but rather the complete opposite. The more T you have, the more pressure your body makes to create even more androgen receptors. You could try increasing your fat intake, meaning cholesterol, thus your body will make even more T, causing a positive feedback loop.
