Peter Rodger, his father, has a networth of 5 million USD. Some sources say that his networth is 500k which isnt rich at all. That's like a middle class networth. Taking into consideration his success in the film industry, I will assume that he is worth 5 million USD. That networth puts him in the wealthy category but at the lower end of wealthy. That said, his father wasn't super rich like his friends. Elliot Rodgers father hanged out with his rich friends which is why he was invited to all of these dinners with them. Peter Rodger was being given benefits from his super rich friends. Supposedly, he got free Katy Perry tickets from a rich family friend. He was given a used BMW, not a brand new one (that would be too expensive for his family). His father couldn't even afford to pay child support on a monthly basis. Elliot Rodger even complained that his parents weren't rich enough like those Hollywood friends of theirs. People thought ER was super rich because he was surrounded by super wealthy people. According to a source by CNN, his mother begged her friends for money to make ends meet.

It's not like his parents lived in a mansion in Beverly hills, had a Lamborghini, or those other things that super rich people have. Technically, he was rich but not very rich. People on here overestimated his true wealth

He pretended to be wealthy with his used BMW and designer clothes. A news article from 2014 clearly states that he isn't from a wealthy family. Interestingly,.his family in Britain used to be wealthy before the great depression

nope. at least not while ER was still alive. ER barely had 5k worth of saving on his bank account shortly before he went ER. He used most of his savings for lottery tickets and guns/ ammo. If he was a rich kid, he wouldnt have spent that much money on fucking lottery tickets...
