High refresh 4K panels are overrated: your computer probably doesn’t have the GPU to run 4K, 144+FPS if you are talking about affordability.

these specs haven't changed
$500-$600. I was looking for monitors recently, and I saw monitors within those specifications around that price range. I was tempted, but at the end of the day, I bought a 240hz 1080p Dell monitor, as my current GPU can't run super new games in 4K. Due to all the scalping normcucks, I'm probably going to have to be sticking to my 1050ti for another four or five years. Unless you got at least a 3060, I wouldn't buy a 144hz 4K monitor for now, it would be a waste of money.

The only application you will reach 144hz in is Microsoft Office.

not bad but you're probably going to get only around 40-60 fps for most games in 4k. No reason to get a 144 hz monitor since you won't hit 144fps in most games.
I would just get 1440p 144hz monitor if you want a high frame rate.
