How I wish the world was and how it is are so different

This does come from a somewhat selfish desire, but think about this world we live in.

It's all just so difficult. It's as if somebody created the universe and decided to plop us on a hardcore nightmare difficulty.

Everything is hard to achieve. We grow up and immediately start declining from our prime. Doing things you like hurt you - food fattens you up and can give you various health problems, drugs are very pleasant but they screw your life and health up, fun things are few and far between and you can't do them often cause you have to work. Everything you care about slowly fades into nothing, growing ever older and weaker.

Work, effort, pain and waiting, this is what 90% of this world we live in is.

I hate the temporary nature of life. There is just a lack of stability and unstable lives become even more unstable. It is just too much chaos for me and I hate that

It's simply because we are an abomination. No animal should ever have this level of cognition and no life should have this degree of complexity. We would all be much happier if we were just hunting and gathering every day for two or three decades, then dying with no anxiety or thought as to what is beyond.

Yeah, it sucks, OP. Betas work just to keep a roof over their heads and MAYBE get a nagging housewife and some brats to support. If you cope with food or drugs, as you said, they can cause health problems. All we have left to look forward to is decrepitude and probable disease.
