Serious How I was able to quit Reddit for 1 whole month!

Its almost the 17! And I managed to quit Reddit for good! Dont miss it at all BUT it was a hard struggle. Only reddit posts I still see is here from .is

Anyway this ones a hard one, but here I did it:

1. Deleted my (already permanbanned) account. This automatically blends out NSFW content on reddit, so you cant visit what is essentially 50% of the plattform.
2. Deleted the App on all my mobile devices. Reddit is usually pre-installed to trap you, after it was gone I could only open it via browser.
3. Blacklisted Reddit on home server. This lets you not find Reddit so easily doing a google search.
4. Installed BlockerHero on all my mobile devices. This blocks if I would enter reddit - which happened A LOT and always reminded me how addicted I am to reddit content.
(unforunately BlockerHero can be annoying as it closes your browser if a Reddit link shows up and MAN do people spam reddit links).

I wish to never visit Reddit again, tbh I feel mentally slightly better ever since I stopped to read it. Its a hivemind of trolls, idiots, bastards and Onlyfans whores that try to promote their shit. Only thing I miss is wallstreetbets - but then again even this one made me sick "I earned 1 million in a single Amazon call lol" yeah fuck off.

Unfortunately I still use my phone for 6 hours, usually discord, youtube, is or some other forum.

Good for you for quitting. Reddit is addictive. I was able to quit since they IP banned me.

so they did to me, you can still access only with banned account - also they dont just IP ban, they go so far to MAC ban, which they did to me, after writing something anti political (regarding a certain politician)

Yeah, I can access it still. I mainly use Reddit as a source for personal activities now (watching porn) instead of debating normies all the time.
