Would that be more fair, more reasonable, make your life any better or worse? You can look back in time, see that for most of civilized history men didn't have as bad a negotiating position as we have today and conclude that you probably would have been getting >0 lifetime romantic partners if you were born a few decades ago. But it's not crucial to the core issues around inceldom. The innate inequality on the sexual market. The underlying root of most unfairness, inequality and unnecessary suffering in general being genetic in nature. Western society being highly sexist (against men) and racist (against whites) while pretending to oppose racism and sexism at the same time. Women being first encouraged by our culture and then rewarded by our systems for expressing the worst sides of their female and human nature en masse.

There's not really any specific way to know. I guess it depends on your stats. If you're truecel tier it's not because of hypergamy but if you're just a bit below average then it's likely hypergamy is leading to your consistent rejections
