And I am not referring to the fact that significant amount of female dog owners indulge in sexual intercourse with the animal. Here, I just want to express something I observed for a long time. Articles on dogs dying in some accident generate a whole lot of sorrowful comments in local news(why is that news in first place?) compared to articles about random man losing his life. Is the reason why people feel more emphaty towards dogs purely aesthetic, because they find them cute, while a lot of men are unnatractive and thus unworthy of attention or there is something else?
