Discussion How do you feel about your mother?

Me personally, I’m mostly apathetic to her, and the rest of my family to be honest. I don’t hate them or anything, but I just don’t have that deep connection that normal people do.
I have a very strange feeling about the idea of a “mother figure” that I don’t really understand.

I both love and hate my mother, I had a rough childhood with her and she wasn't ever really there for me she was always working or drunk and I've neer felt any real deep connection for her or any of my family members' I don't think i'd even be sad if they died

I hate her with all my heart and would like nothing more than the chance to beat her bloody to death with my bare hands if I could get away with it. She used to abuse me until I reached manhood and started hitting her back. All foids are weak, mother or no.

My relationship with my family is not good. They oppose any of my decisions and think that I am a failure and have no ability to make decisions and support myself. And I don't like every arrangement they force me to make either. They have all been unfaithful. They were divorced before and remarried because of my sister. I don't like them, nor do I like my sister
