I've found if you go to popular message boards and make a stink about Xbox Online fees, Microsoft will put up a sale to quell the rioters.

That's about the best you can do, they make too much money to ever make it free now.

Games for Windows LIVE was tied to Xbox LIVE. Everyone started with a Silver account. You could pay to upgrade to a Gold account, which cost $50 a year. A gold account was required for playing GFWL-enabled games online, just like Xbox LIVE Gold is required for playing Xbox games online. ps4 has better graphics n shit and more people use it pretty sure but since PSN copied xbox and made it you have to pay to play online it doesn't matter
the ps3 was better than the xbox 360 but the xbox 360 was just more fun
most people followed the trend and went with ps4 tho
