How come the Chinese invented gunpowder but the Europeans perfected it ?
Innovative'Europeans' are a just a more curious race-of-people imo. Always wanting to take things to the next level, which isn't a bad thing.
More accurate description.Innovative
European nobility didn't indulge in obscene degenerate debauchery cos of a strong christian moral code and Christian church intelligentsia provided a large pool of educated individuals, most of European history that is known today is only possible for this large intelligentsia, nobody knows who Boudica, more than the name itself, that name maybe a Roman degeneration as well, everyone knows who Normans are cos of Church scribes'Europeans' are a just a more curious race-of-people imo. also strong Christian moral is mostly an import of roman laws.
Man Europe really was a special continentThere was no feudalism in the style you understand it anywhere in the world except Europe. There was a class of nobles and clergy who could engage in intellectual development while serfs would grow food.
That was everywhere in the world, it has been like that since the dawn of civilisation as we know it right from the bronze age in every sedentary society, nothing special about Europe except for the large organized Church intelligentsia, every part of the world had intelligentsia and religious orders just not as overarching and organised for an entire continent irrespective of political patronage, a parallel state of sortsThere was no feudalism in the style you understand it anywhere in the world except Europe. There was a class of nobles and clergy who could engage in intellectual development while serfs would grow food.
Tbh, rise of Islam was an unparalled disaster for the east, they emptied and burnt large libraries and repositories of knowledge like anything, the later Golden age of translation was a haphazard attempt by some Caliphs on their own to draw some knowledge out of ashes by trying to recreate and translate whatever was left and by calling on scholars from all around the non-Christian world and it was a military neccessity as well, the loss of knowledge was so thorough that middle east never recovered and is a shithole up until now of no organic knowledge except for Islamic law and theology, the church was not so iconoclast, they actively looked after greek and roman literature even though they despised it and didn't participate in religious Roman or greek works except for secular philosophy they still stored what was there. They probably did it by chance. Every other invention and discovery by non-white races has been by chance or in very short-term "golden" ages.
But the whites are methodical. Being methodical means they can do proper research, and more importantly add to the knowledge they had before instead of it getting lost.
