Well, that's not true. The lowest record rate for bestiality among women was 0.6% which was a study done on undergraduates back in the late 90's, so girls who are around 18-24. The highest was 3.6% which was conducted by Kinsey in the middle of last century.
The thing about these numbers is that there are also studies done on bestiality using a polygraph test. They asked inmates about engagement with bestiality before and after the test. In one study... "Whereas 37.5percent admitted to bestiality, this increased to 81.2percent when questioned using a polygraph." and in a different study using the same method "While prior to the polygraph investigation only 4.4% had admitted to bestiality, afterwards 36% reported to have engaged in bestiality."
What this tells us is that A) There's never been a recorded rate for bestiality among women that went lower than 0.6% and this was in the late 90's in a study exclusively of undergraduate students who would be around 18-24. All of these rates were record last century, /before/ the explosion of internet porn became available and started influencing people's sexual interests.
B) We know from other studies on porn that women are overwhelmingly more interested in porn that depicts violence against women. Before this came out I'm sure most people thought it was just men watching these videos. Turns out men aren't really all that into it.
C) Even with the rate of bestiality recorded at ~0.6% to 3.6% for women we know from other studies that used polygraph tests that people lie on these questions, and not by an insignificant rate either.
There's a lot more to write on this subject, like other studies that show that women are more sexually fluid (experimental) than men, porn search studies, anecdotal accounts from guys who into watching girls with their dogs, etc. I've talked to a number of guys with dogs who are into this and many of them said that you can talk almost half of the women out their into trying a dog, if you do it in the right way. lol, well the rates for men on this question are always higher than it is for women. People lie though so it's possible that women lie more on these questions than men do, sex surveys always have men listing higher number of sexual partners than women so there's likely an imbalanced rate of truth telling on these things. The only number with regards to bestiality that I've seen where women show higher interests in bestiality than men was a study I think in Germany where the question was something like "How often do you have sexual fantasies of animals" and the women had a higher number than men. It's a bit of a softer question too, I think the rate there was about 8%.
It's also been seen that for both men and women who engage in bestiality that the largest preference for animals are dogs, male dogs specifically. This is true for both men and women. So, it's likely that men who are gay and bisexual are more likely to engage in bestiality than straight men.
