I don't get it!

It must be a brain chemistry thing.

My bedroom is fairly untidy and chaotic but also I guess "immature". But I don't even really understand why.

"Mature" guy's bedrooms are SO TIDY and orderly and certainly don't have any stashes of video games, old Mountain Dew cans, chaotic PC set-up, stashes of canned food, piles of clothes, etc etc.

This is considered immature, right? And probably why my room was described as "like uni digs". Hm!

clean your room, bucko!

They are NT and usually having a gf motivates you to keep everything clean

I'm from the SUBURBS nigger, we keep our asses CLEAN over here.:whitepill:

I think it's probably a personality thing tbh.

I'm an ENFP so I'm naturally a bit chaotic and expressive, as chatgpt just reminded me XD

And it's true that ENFP males will repel most women and tbh in a country like England most PEOPLE but... when you find "your people", they don't care. It's subjective ^_^

And tidying my room or whatever doesn't really help much because it's an expression of my personality and that won't change.

Also all this reminds me of this Dr Phil episode:

Tidy but immature i guess. I regularly clean it but i'm also a manchild and this is probably reflected in my bedroom.

My bedroom looks exactly like a generic, cookie cutter display model

motivation is super super underrated

discipline is drilled into young men's heads, but motivation is far superior because you don't need discipline when you're motivated and if you have no motivation no amount of discipline will help when it doesn't matter

it depends how many rooms you have in your house, if you eat sleep shit in the same room no wonder it's messy

lol yeah I was thinking of this. If you have a whole flat then your bedroom inevitably ends up with a lot less in it.

And then looks more mature because the video games and so on are in the lounge.

My room is tidy, but i'm not sure that it's mature

Yeah I think lots of people have tidy rooms but they wouldn't be considered especially mature. It does help though.

Someone with "toys" around their room (models, etc) would probably look a lot more mature if they were in a display cabinet instead of just strewn around, but it isn't everything.

my room is transphobic

Heres a story as to how i keep my room decently tidy

My uncle was a very messy messy filthy fucking guy i mean he’d just leave shit all over slopdonalds food bags all over clothes every shoes all over
So one night mans asleep and a roach crawls into his ear couldnt get it out had to get surgery was very deep in his ear lol

Soo what do u do to not attract bugs into ur room?
Dont make it messy and get the extermator kn your room atleast once every 6 months

Something really weird is that when I imagine living like Jeff, suddenly I feel motivated to go and meet people and socialise. That's so bizarre.

That means that something in my own life or the lack of something is why I don't want to.

Maybe it's because living with family is more sociable than where I live atm so it brings me out of my shell.

Plus it sounds like he has friends who act a bit teenage like he does and I'd love to find people who are like me.

So in a way... he's got it made, lol

Family, friends, he gets to express himself, he's got people around him. He gets to be a teen forever.

Lucky devil tbh!

The dirtiest it gets is empty water bottles

Yeah it's harsh how his sister and daughter judge him so harshly.

I suppose a lot of women really don't realise how much easier it is than being a man.

That's definitely a good idea if you have carpet or a bed with fabric on it or anything like that, because... these things can be breeding grounds for moths and other bugs for sure.

Where I live now the bed is all metal and wood and the floor is vinyl so the chance of bugs is much lower.

Messy but "mature". But I think women wouldn't like it because I haven't decorated it and women like decorated rooms.
