How do they hear voices and see strange beings without feeling afraid?
it depends on the schizo. some are definitely afraid, others get so high they think they're God.

They are not always scary sometimes the hallucination is of someone you know/like like I had a schizoph friend that used to see her mother (her mother is demented and bedridden) and she'd just be talking to her

They trust the voices inside their heads more than they do actual living breathing people

it was a one time thing. i'm antipsychiatry and acknowledge paranormal (stuff in my family & biologically unrelated friends happened), so i didn't make a big deal out of it

I don’t even care anymore.
It’s mostly low IQ schizophrenics who give us all a bad image.
They think their hallucinations are real.
Some of us are high IQ and are able to just dismiss it all as just a hallucination.
I just think of it as a permanent LSD trip.
It can be quite fun sometimes, if you relax.
I know the symptoms are not the same exactly, but they do have similarities.
Just remember, you are not going to die from hallucinations. So just calm down.
