This is something I always found flawed. As we all know, genetics are the main determinant of success, but self improvement can (to a lesser degree), make a difference. However, that only works for men in the middle ground anyway, some men are just automatic chads or truecels.
Nevertheless, the point I wanna make is, that because women only gravitate to the top 20% (less in 2020), most men can't be "confident". Confidence comes from others validating you, not from within. Elliot Rodger was confident, and people called him a narcissist. Why? well, because he was a loser. If Elliot Rodger looked like Chico, he wouldn't be looked down upon in the same way, since his looks backed him up. People get angry at ER because he was nowhere near Chad and thus his arrogance was a turn off for most viewers. But that only happened since he was an ugly HAPA in the first place.
I've been told to "be confident", but how can I when I've been shat on for my ugly face my whole life?
