Hollow cheeks has been a common interest of myself and many people.
They're a common feature on many MMs. In the Instagram picture you can see their cheeks are fully hollowed. But I've never see anyone with that type of hollow cheeks. Why? Lighting and angle.
The truth is, most hollow cheek people look more like the right guy opposed to the left guy. But why? Because of lighting.
In edited pictures, flashing light is used to shoot at the person and the person usually look a while down, making the zygomatic look higher, therefore more 'space' for hollow cheeks. You don't see many hollowcheekers who look up.
Most hollow cheeked people simply have a shadow on their cheeks in real life, and visible 'balls' on their face. Furthermore, they have a visible line on their palate seperating it from the cheeks. Also, finally, a protruding ogee curve (S) on 3/4 view
So what causes it? From my obversation it is a combined of a few things.
1.Protruding Zygomatic (cheekbones) BOTH in forward projection and width. Height placement is also important, but not necessary.
2.Jawline and Chin. The the wider is your mandible, the better, the lower your gonial angle is, the more hollow you can get. That's why there's hollow cheeks are so common for square jawed people.
3.This is also important, low BF!!!! You need low BF to achieve the hollow cheeks. There's two ways. Autistically gymcel to have high muscle and low fat, or just stravemaxx. The latter makes you look like a framecel but is pretty much effortlessly
4.Look down!! Looking down makes your Zygomatic bones look higher. Therefore, more hollowness can be seen.
