I have increased my workout routine to be 7 days a week. Swimming is not enough to build a good core and abs so I added days just for that.

My new routine looks as follows:

  • Monday: Swimming + STRENGTH Workout
  • Tuesday: Rest + ABS/SIXPACK WORKOUT + LIGHT WEIGHT LIFT WORKOUT
  • Wednesday: STRENGTH Workout + Swimming (evening swim)
  • Thursday: Rest + ABS/SIXPACK WORKOUT
  • Friday: Swimming + STRENGTH WORKOUT + ABS/SIXPACK WORKOUT
  • Saturday: Light strength Workout + STRENGTH Workout
  • Sunday: Rest + ABS/SIXPACK WORKOUT

What do you think

Good, but too much cardio will impact strength training progress. It will also fatigue you.

I only do 3 swimming a week outside of walking that's pretty much all the cardio I'm doing so I think that's alright?

It could work. Try it out for two to three weeks and see how you feel, then go from there.
