We shouldn’t even worry about the topic of having children since we can’t breed.
It is and it goes for ever sentient being. Make 10 beings, even if 9 is in ultimate bliss and 1 in agony it's not 'fair' to that 1 being. But ratio is much worse than that especially in animals. Herbivores are fucked the most by predators and humans, but hey as long as we have our steak right?
