I don’t recall an anime male protagonist that wasn’t fucking shredded (especially if it’s an action anime)

Yes. And for some reason these nerd Chads settle for the first noodlewhore that comes their way, or some other foid waay below their looksmatch. These foids are often much more cunning than the Chad, and these nerd Chads are so oblivious, it's like they got scammed. I notice that the foids they do get shacked up with tend to run the relationship, and make the Chad think he could be dumped at any moment.
