Have you ever played first-person shooters on a gamepad? How much did you suffer at the same time?
Only played a couple of SP fps games on the emulators it was always awful since it either it had weak auto aim or magnetic aim (with some giga dof effect) was so strong that game practically played for you.
Yes, I came across exactly this when playing a game for Xbox original on the emulator for a couple of hours I could not pass a level when it was necessary to destroy several constantly appearing targets during the time, if I did less than the minimum, then I did not get to the next level. And this game was released only on Xbox original.
Played COD3 on RPCS3/Xenia and it was fine since auto aim was so insanely strong (but depth of field made it super annoying since you couldn't see shit but a single enemy) but when i played Bad Company 1 i got demolished by AI since autoaim was barely working. I need to check Black on PCSX2 to see if it's any better, everyone recommends that game for some reason.
Having to play a fps shooter on a gamepad when there is no port on a PC is torture.
I hate that era of gaming when publishers completely ignored pc and rarely released their fps games there and not just FPS games but games overall.
What is the Xbox 360 emulation level today? Is it worth trying to play an emulator with a weak PC (I have 16GB of RAM, Ryzen 5 3600 and 1050ti.) ?
Performance is really good but it has a shitload of glitches especially when you try to run it at anything higher than native 720p resolution.
Cod 3 runs great and is playable even with mouse + keyboard, Forza Motorsport 4 is only playable at 720p and framerate need to be capped at somewhere around 60-90fps more than that everything breaks and also you need to edit your iso to fix sunrays and blur distance. Forza Horizon 1 works fine at 720p no editing needed. Armored Core 4 runs great but saving is fucked for me so i can't even progress without game wiping my progress to zero every time i reset my emulator
Burnout Revenge has perfect framerate but music doesn't play at all outside of the first song in menu. PGR4 runs at 30fps/720p you can't uncap framerate since it will run at double speed so better use Lossless scaling to emulate 60fps.https://github.com/Clippy95/xenia-canary-mousehook <- use in COD3 i have no clue how to remove DOF and snappy aim it was supposed to be disabled in the game and ini but blur is still there. But mouse and keyboard works so it's better than using shitty gamepad, PS you still need to plug gamepad from time to time to do the QTE with valves

Runs pretty nice (he runs it at 4k so like 8x higher gpu requirements) but other dude said that it controls like shit. Remember to download Xenia Canary since it's like experimental build of normal Xenia emulator.

I get seasick pretty fast playing anything more visually advanced than CS 1.6 no kidding jfl. Truecel trait
In fact, I also occasionally get sick from advanced graphics, so I don't play anything more modern than the Witcher 3.
Does this only happen in first person ones for you, or just generally when the graphics are too realistic? For me, first person shooters are unbearable, especially with all the camera shakes and stuff, I literally feel like throwing up after like 10 minutes of playing for some reason

Cod zombies it was fun
I started out on CoD2 and CoD3 on Xbox 360 console game wise. Needless to say, I definitely prefer KB+M over using a controller for FPS games.
