I remember I was a die-hard brony some years ago. I collected the merchandise, watched the series (and participated in forums making weird theories lol) and went to meetups. There weren't any brony convetions because there aren't so many bronies in Spain but when they went to manga convetions I went too. It didn't go so well because I was shy and awkward as fuck (More than those bronies, so you can imagine lol) so I didn't talk much.

And apart from that I've never been in another fandom, I realized I didn't like groups. I just prefer to watch whatever I want and whenever I want.

No because I don’t want to associate with toxic people. Like you I mostly just watch whatever I want without interacting with fans much.

I do consider myself a huge Berserk fan. I read all of the manga's volumes and still continue to do so. Sadly am too poor to buy any merchandise or actual copies of the manga, but I sure will eventually.

The fandom itself, as far as fandoms go, is also surprisingly decent. It's very dedicated and discussion-driven, not to mention its memes and shitposts are God-tier. I do keep my distance from them tho, mostly because I prefer to enjoy things by myself.

I've been in a few fandoms like Transformers, Bionicle, Mega Man, and Kamen Rider when I was younger and had merch and games from them. I'd go on forums or on YouTube to chat with other fans back then. Nowadays, I don't really participate in fandoms since most of them are toxic.

The only fandom I could ever associate with is the IRA.

All the fandoms I have been in have had people hate each other and troll. All were games.

I also used to be huge on Sonic, going as far commenting and discussing on YT comments and forums.

I eventually left tho. The sonic fanbase is too cancerous due to its in-fighting between Adventure fans, classic fans and modern fans.

I was in the punk scene for a long time and was even in a few bands before I decided to go with the LDAR lifestyle for years. There are so many subgroups in what is already essentially a parody and circlejerk of a dead movement and music it's not even funny. Most lye on the SJW side nowadays and the aggression has pretty much been taken away. The rest are just edgy autists who are still going through puberty or are ugly men angry at the world. Tried both, both suck.

Gymcel and loneliness is nicer.

MLP?? lmfao
i hope you are not surprised that you're an incel

No, I hate fandoms. If I like something and the "fandom" gets big enough to enter my field of vision, I start to lose interest.

I used to post on /r/megaten

The assassin's creed fandom tbh

Fate, since 2010. Was really into it and bought a few posters but after ufotable revived the series and Fate/Grand Order I got really into it

Also used to be a huge Hajime no Ippo fan

I'm a part of the Yakuza/Ryu ga Gotoku and Deadly Premonition fandoms.

no i never liked anything enough to develop an otaku obsession

ill always be a dilettante, albeit a traveled one.

I was a massive JoJofaggot around my late teenage years, now still but not so much. I can honestly say it stopped me from killing myself a few times.
