Discussion Have you come close to death

Last week i almost died.
I was corssing the croad in zebra line (not jay walking) and then i notice this truck didnt show any sign of stopping so i stopped and looked as the truth drove by there was a woman driving the truck as soon as the truck reached the zebra line it what i saw inside was she was have mental distress , she was talking to her self she managed to see me and came back to reality and had this looked of being shocked. This happened in seconds.
If i had continuted walking i would have been hit. They was also this time in grade 6
I thought i could swim and i insisted so they put me in the side where water is more, i almost drowned and ended up being rescued and almost lost my house key.
This other time my mom was getting gas she went to the the gas station connected the wire then she remmered the car was on. The car would have exploded and i would be probably dead if she had not remmebered. this one time my bike had a front wheel problem it wasnt in the middle, not stable shaking. When i was heading home i showed tge problem to this two guys and they fixed the problem. And said to me you could have been dead, they said if i has riding down the wheel, the wheel would have fallen off and my head would have hit the groud and i would have dead or seriously injured.

Yes I’ve felt like that when my heart rate was weird or my chest hurt but it went away. I’ve had multiple nights where I legitimately thought I wouldn’t wake up tomorrow morning.

you should have walked, imagine her seething about an ugly dude ruining her live (she won't be able to live with it and have some kind of trauma)

I OD'd on narcotics a few times and when I was 4 I almost drowned in a pool because I was left unsupervised for a bit.
When I was 15 I had an internship at a reptile enclosure and I worked with various types of reptiles including alligators, crocodiles, and monitor lizards but I have always been particularly infatuated with snakes.
One day I was cleaning the snake enclosures and I dropped my phone on the floor so when I went to pick it up, I felt a sting in my upper arm so when I looked over, I saw the black cobra enclosure was slightly opened and one has bitten me. I finished cleaning and put the snake back in it's enclosure, went downstairs and told my boss one of the black cobras bit me and his face turned pale instantly. He ran to the back and started frantically looking for the antidote, he was seriously freaking out because I guess he saw the possible lawsuit if a 15 year old intern would've died there lmao.
I started getting woozy and I started having serious trouble breathing because he couldn't find the right antidote straight away so at that moment I just closed my eyes and accepted my fate. That intership is still one of the highlights in my life though.

A few years ago I was being a jackass fooling around under a railroad bridge. I was looking at the mirage in the distance (I climbed up right next to the track) when it occurred to me to look behind me. Lo and behold a train was only maybe 30-40 feet away. I might've had three seconds to think, tops. I jumped down and landed (it hurt quite a bit) right as it passed over me. It would have been a better move to just wait up there honestly.
