Asocial, not antisocial. They used to tell me that when they were forced to interact with me because of school or job or whatever. Now no one talks to me at all because they don't have to.

They never directly used the worlds "anti-social" but I have had a lot of, "Anon, why don't you talk more?"
Happened to me in school a lot. Usually at the beginning of the school year a classmate would come up to me and ask me why I'm so quiet and don't talk. So for the next week I'd try talking as much as possible. Then the pattern usually sets in where they just say that to be nice and in actuality what it means is they are trying to include you to look good in front of their friends but they don't want you to actually do anything different. So I try to talk to them and they quickly distance themselves from me and stop even getting near me in class. Or make up excuses on why they can't talk right now and walk away.

Same thing happened at work. First couple of bosses as a teen/early 20s I would be quiet and hard working. The boss then asks why I don't speak more and socialize with coworkers. I make an effort to socialize then all a sudden they stop inviting me to things (Where before they would invite me when they knew I would say no). They stop talking to me and start sending me emails as our only form of communication.

At this point I just really hate people and can't deal with their virtue-signaling bullshit. I ignore everybody at work and just do my job now. It has really sunken me lower into depression since I have no breaks at work and nobody to chat with as I drudge hour after hour of my shitty work day. Knowing all my hours of work and even though I've been told I'm the hardest worker or having the highest productivity all I get are fucking "Good job!" emails and "Employee of the quarter" certificates which mean jack shit. The people that socialize with the boss and have drinks after work are the ones that always get promoted and then guess what? They leave for better pastures because nobody is loyal in this fucking business.
