I am 25 and I honestly can't remember ever seeing a man just walk up to a woman he doesn't know and just start hitting on her. Even at bars, it's just not something I see.

I only saw it at my old workplace, there was this co-worker of mine that looked like Neuman from Mad Magazine, he used to hit on the secretary during coffee break.

Men don't "approach" by their own initiative. Instead, women give PERMISSION to approach with their eyes/smiles.
I've only seen it once when I was walking the streets doing it myself. I spotted a girl with a friend and was thinking of approaching her when, moments later, a guy walked up and started walking and talking with her. I thought he was a friend at first but after no more than a minute he turned around and went back to his friend while the girls kept walking.

I have; a lot. But I work in a busy downtown bar (in the kitchen), and usually hang out for a few drinks after I get off. Sometimes I see it go well, and of course I see a lot of shut downs.

Now that you mention it, yeah I have. Theres this dude I always see down at the metro and he goes right from one foid to the next. They seem to all be rejections, not sure how he hasn't roped yet.
