I’ve been considering giving it a watch.
The novel of tbate clears mushuko tensei its legit not even in the same ballpark story wise. It's mushoku tensei but worse. The manga is a literal copy 1 by 1 of the first chapters. What's more there's nothing interesting about it, in MT you at least have Rudy pervertness and if you watch the anime god tier animation, while TBATE is a powerpoint slide
Isekai is a suicide psyop
larp, the Mushoku Tensei lightnovel is unironically one of the best. The novel of tbate clears mushuko tensei its legit not even in the same ballpark story wise.
I can't speak for the novel but people say that it has been adapted well to manga, and the manga as i've said before is a literal copy of mushoku tensei in it's start. The novel of tbate clears mushuko tensei its legit not even in the same ballpark story wise.
One of the best hahahahahaha thats larp bro cmon nowlarp, the Mushoku Tensei lightnovel is unironically one of the best.
Well it does get better after that thats the thing. The start is basic isekai. Till the elf grandpa is like what, 20 novel chapters? It has 520+ rn.I can't speak for the novel but people say that it has been adapted well to manga, and the manga as i've said before is a literal copy of mushoku tensei in it's start.
And i'm being generous to not call it a blatant rip off. Let's mention the things that they share in common: Transmigration, smart kid in his young years, prodigy in magic, uses an incredible magic spell being really young, father is a swordsman. It doesn't help that both protagonist and their respective fathers are really similar.
After that the novels differ but while MT has a lot of interesting things like MC dealing with past trauma, teaching an entitled brat, his learning of magic, etc.
TBATE was just isekai generic slop, there's nothing that i've said wooow about it. I just read a little bit still, just when he found the elf grandpa. You can't say "b-buuuut it gets better after that" because you need to hook someone at the start, and this series has a really, really weak start.
The mc in tbate will also deal with his past and the trauma and issues from it. You just didnt read it yet.I can't speak for the novel but people say that it has been adapted well to manga, and the manga as i've said before is a literal copy of mushoku tensei in it's start.

That's correct. What I enjoy the most are the perspective shifts to other people - it happens in the first volume, you see Zenith's POV and her view of Rudeus. The believable character reactions to the very unusual MC is frankly the series' strongest point, in addition to the very vibrant world that is painted. A lot of isekai struggle with the scope of the world and everything feels limited to the MC and his cast, but Mushoku is the only I've seen atm where the world feels like it *actually* has shit that goes on and the MC isn't the Messiah which things only ever happens around. One of the best hahahahahaha thats larp bro cmon now
It's subpar, if the start is not great i can't expect the novel to get better "eventually". Also not only did he copy better works like Mushoku tensei, but lacked individuality. If it's one of your first novels and you enjoyed it, i can understand that you consider it great. But saying that it's better than MT is just plain ignorance.Well it does get better after that thats the thing. The start is basic isekai. Till the elf grandpa is like what, 20 novel chapters? looks like shit
I read mushuko tensei before i did tbate. I dont like the pervertness of rudeus, also didnt really like the way the story started shaping itself. I like orsted tho. It's subpar, if the start is not great i can't expect the novel to get better "eventually". Also not only did he copy better works like Mushoku tensei, but lacked individuality. see tbate has the perspective shift aswell. To an entire other continent which has different systems for magic and power. That's correct.
