Has anyone here created elaborate fantasy worlds and avoided real connrction

Ever since I was a kid I have always preferred living in my own world than interacting with other people. I used to immerse myself in fantasy worlds and create stories in my head. Legit spent all my free time as a kid making sonic fanfiction and enjoyed every second of it with no regrets. Maybe this is why I'm socially fucked up or maybe I'm wired differently idk
