Has anyone ever left the forum without a selfban?

Every time I see someone leaving the forum, they always request a ban. Has anyone ever left without banning themselves or getting banned? Can you even announce you're leaving without getting banned?

Sometimes I just don't browse the forum for weeks and then come back. Dunno why people ask for self bans, if you want to stop checking the forum just block it in your browser.
