tbh the one that took most difficulty at start were dark souls 1 and dark souls 3 but they became easy quick so honestly (except for the gael and friede fight which i struggled a lot at them...)

Not for me, I beat that boss on the second or third try, on keyboard and mouse.
On keyboard and mouse too but the hardest bosses in both games to me were always the final dlc bosses (Friede, Gael, Darkeater Midir, oh and Manus)
except for Kalameet though, I beat him first try because of my strength build

I don't play a ton of difficult games so probably Halo 2 legendary. At least with fromsoft games they where designed to be difficult but manageable if you know what you're doing. Halo 2 on the other hand, they just turned the player health to be as low as possible, turned the enemies fire rate up, and then called it a day.

The SNES version is obnoxious because it sends you back to the start of the game after every game is over.
Halo 2 on legendary is just unfair. Which sucks because every other difficulty mode in Halo 2 is overly easy. Massive downgrade from 1.
