I remember when I was younger, years actually felt distinct from one another. I used to look forward to the new year and the changes it might bring. Nothing ever changes nowadays, so the years all feel the same. At least that's what it's like here in the UK. We've even had the same government for 8 years now. Everything's just so fucking stagnant here.
